A self-taught cake artist and instructor, Sheri Wilson began baking cakes three years ago in an effort to alleviate the stresses of motherhood. Once her little ones were asleep, Sheri would spend most nights in her small home kitchen, honing her skills in smoothing cakes and learning how to properly use a piping bag.

Fast forward just a few short years, and she has become the face behind Cake Design by Sheri, an extremely popular baking account on YouTube and Instagram. What began as a hobby has evolved into not only a full-blown business, but also a vital creative outlet allowing Sheri to explore her passion for designing and creating gorgeous cakes and other amazing treats.

Sheri’s distinct visual style, which ranges from rich blacks to bold pinks and explosive neo splashes, has gone viral within the baking community, earning her a devoted following. Her work has been featured by People, CNBC, POPSUGAR, and Yahoo, as well as in Cake Masters Magazine.

Sheri has spent much of her life traveling all over the world, having lived in South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and now the US alongside her husband and two children. Her first cake decorating book, Caketopia, is set to hit shelves this holiday season!
